About Warrior's Breath
I created Warrior’s Breath Retreat after overcoming stage 4 cancer. The practices of breathwork and cold exposure were central to my healing journey, and now I’m passionate about sharing them with others. I built the cold tub and sauna by hand, and after many hours of work, I’m proud to offer a space designed for real restoration — a place where others can reset, reconnect, and support their body’s natural ability to heal.

"It was a very warm welcome from Marcos who served up a hot cup of coffee before explaining what we would be doing. This settled the nerves as he explained about the way to control our breathing as we entered the bath and while we were in it. The first minute was hard, but the breathing technique got me through it and the second minute seemed to go in a flash!
The sauna afterwards was a real treat! My legs in particular felt so good the next day, and it was a brilliant experience and one I would recommend people to try."

"I really enjoyed my first visit to the retreat, I say first because it certainly won't be my last. Marcos explained everything regarding breathing and when to breathe very well.
The whole place felt so homely, cup of tea on arrival, a sauna and ice bath. I was well looked after and would recommend to anyone. It's all down to Marcos that I managed to get in the ice bath!

"I was initially reluctant to attempt the cold plunge, although I was aware of some of the benefits, I hate anything involving the cold!
Marcos talked me through the whole process and was encouraging without being pushy, I felt no obligation to attempt the plunge. However, with his support I did make it into the water, if only for a short time. Something I never thought I would do.
Marcos was very knowledgeable on the benefits of the cold plunge, but also the safety aspects, ensuring that I felt safe throughout.
It felt amazing afterwards and the sauna was an added bonus. When I ran the next day, my legs felt amazing. I would definitely recommend to others and I hope to attempt this again...and possibly extend my time in the water."
